POWERLIFTING IS A SPORT.  LIKE ANY OTHER SPORT, IT REQUIRES PRACTICED SKILLS TO REACH ONE’S POTENTIAL.  WITH INSTRUCTIONS FROM LONE STAR STRENGTH, LIFTERS IN THE D/FW AREA CAN LEARN THOSE SKILLS FROM AN EXPERIENCED COACH IN A HIGHLY-MOTIVATED ENVIRONMENT.

·                13 YEARS COMPETITIVE EXPERIENCE THAT INCLUDES 3 YEARS AT THE USAPL COLLEGIATE NATIONALS, IPF NORTH AMERICAN CHAMPIONSHIPS, USAPL TEEN/JUNIOR NATIONALS, AND NUMEROUS STATE-LEVEL MEETS. 

·                11 YEARS COACHING EXPERIENCE THAT INCLUDES 8 TEEN/JUNIOR NATIONALS, 5 COLLEGIATE NATIONALS, 3 HIGH SCHOOL NATIONALS, AND 2 WOMENS NATIONALS.

·                COACHED NATIONAL CHAMPION TEAMS IN 2008 AND 2009

·                ASST. HEAD COACH OF TEAM USA AT IPF JUNIOR WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPS IN SOUTH AFRICA 2008 AND BRAZIL 2009.

·                EVERY ASPECT OF PROPER TECHNIQUE FOR SQUAT, BENCH PRESS, AND DEADLIFT.

·                PERFORMANCE OF ASSISTANT EXERCISES

·                PROPER USE OF POWERLIFTING EQUIPMENT (SUITS, SHIRTS, WRAPS ETC.)

·                PROPER DIET AND DRUG-FREE SUPPLEMENTATION

·                UNDERSTANDING OF TRAINING PROGRAMS AND HOW TO ORGANIZE THEM

·                TRAINING SESSIONS WILL BE RECORDED AND PLACED ONLINE FOR VIEWING

TRAINING FACILITY:

·                INSTRUCTION WILL TAKE PLACE AT AMERICAN INDOOR SPORTS FACILITY.

·                LOCATED AT 1400 W. HEBRON PKWY IN CARROLLTON, TX

·                EASILY ACCESSIBLE FROM HWY 121, THE FACILITY IS WITHIN 30 MINUTES OF MUCH OF THE DALLAS AREA.

TRAINING SESSIONS AND HOURS:

·                TRAINING SESSIONS ARE IN THE MORNING OR AFTERNOON.

·                SESSIONS ARE 1 HR, AND 2 HRS.  UP TO 4 SESSIONS PER WEEK. 

·                UP TO 6 ATHLETES CAN BE TRAINED IN ONE SESSION.
